Tropicola is a musician who forgets they’re a musician for a few wild years who tries to turn to DJ’ing to fill the gaps and then back into a musician. The music is a product of what was picked up and collected in the interim. Tropicola is a love of break beats, bossa, Blossom Dearie, private press weirdos and everyone in-between. Tropicola sounds like coming up for air again after being down for a really long time..
